    3. Hi, I recently paid a visit to Ashe County for just this reason. I found a great deal of help in the Ashe County Library. They have a Geneology room with lots of informtion such as census, death records, birth records, marriage records and much much more. I would call in advance to find out times they are open....I got unlucky and ran into a day they were closing early!
