Does anyone know of a James Calvin Davis who was born in Ashe County NC on or about 1881? He lived in Chilhowie VA most of his adult life. Is thought to be full blood Cherokee. Any help most appreciated in finding more. Am helping my friend who isn't on the internet search for her grand father's family. Thanks! Darcy 0:)
