I ran across a note from Sharon Staton.....this states that a Jacob Adams married Mary Stamper, d/o Jonathan Stamper and Rachel___( who was Parks) . marrying Jan 7, 1777 in Salixbury , Rowan CO, NC. This was written on Sept 18 1999 and to this date I can not confirm a Mary for this family. Did I miss something , or was this a misunderstanding of parentage?
