ClaudineP: Greetings! Would you have any information on a Charlton H. Ragan - probably from South Carolina (he served in the 25th South Carolina Infantry during the Civil War). On March 9, 1863, he transferred from the 25th SC to Company K, 37th North Carolina Infantry, as a 2nd Lieutenant. Company K was made up of men from the Ashe - Allegheny County area so I though he might have had relations there. Lt. Ragan was killed at Chancellorsville. I am also looking for information on the Ragan's from Gaston County that served in Company H of the 37th: Jasper Ragan and Robert F. Ragan. Thanks! Your servant, Michael C.
