Hi caroline, there are a lot of Woodies in Peak Creek TWP! The only reference to a cemetery near Burnt Hill is the Woodie, Talton family cem. on the east side of Woodrow Bare rd., SR-1611, 0.5 miles south of Burnt Hill rd., SR1612 and 0.5 mile north of NC-88. only 2 graves. Susanah Woodie, b. 4 oct 1846 d.18 jan 1909 w/ Talton;d/Wilson & Polly. second grave: Talton Loggins Woodie b. 2 mar 1856 d.21 feb 1920; S/Loggins & Sarah Ketchum There are other Talton Woodies: Talton C. b. 6 sept 1840 d. 1 may 1920 Talton, Rev. b. 6 dec 1815 d. 2 jun 1877 There are 5 cemeteries in Peak Creek TWP where Woodies are buried.
