Bill, I believe my ggrandfather was a son of Capt. Lewis. His name was Henderson Lewis. He had a daughter named Cordelia Lewis (nicknamed Dicie)one named Minnie Rosethia (my grandmother)1875-1945. Henderson also had a son , Arthur Tilson Lewis I can't verify Gideon's birth date, but I'm working on it. I'm sure there were other children besides Henderson, but right now that's part of what I'm researching. I hope I don't have the wrong Gideon. I've found 3 or 4. Hope I've got the right line.
