Bonnie, According to my records a Henderson Lewis (born about 1854 in Ashe County) was the son of Gideon "Rock Creek" Lewis (1810-1880). "Rock Creek" was a nephew to Capt. Gideon Lewis (1765-1842) and the son of Issac Jacob Lewis (1773-1843). "Rock Creek" is my 3rd great grandfather, Issac Jacob Lewis was my 4th great grandfather. "Rock Creek" is buried at Three Forks Baptist Church (Tucker Cemetery) in Ashe County. Henderson Lewis was married to Nancy Vanover and had a son named Tilson A. (probably Arthur Tilson) and a daughter named Mary Ordelia (probably Cordelia). Mary Ordelia (Cordelia) was married to Luke Osborn. There is also a M.R.
