i am looking for information on Alfred White and wife Elizabeth, and any White's as a matter of fact, who reportedly attended this church prior to 1850. Alfred was born about 1808 and married about 1845 to Elizabeth Adams. His sisters were Lydia, Nancy, Francis (Fannie), and Martha (Patsy). Brothers unknown but out there somewhere. He was the sone of Robert, and possibly Nancy White. Robert had left his family prior to 1828, and went to Ky. Any info would be greatly appreciated. carol

According to Marriage records so graciously provided to me by George H. Latham, Mary Ann Walker was 18 at the time of her marriage. That would put her date of birth in the year 1863! want info of his coming to Ashe Co. NC or Trade, Johnson Co. TN . In l821 he married Fannie Greer daughter of Jesse Greer and Polly Morris Greer and lived in Johnson Co., TN . Their children were - Hiram m. Sarah Musgrave, Jesse m. Phoebe South, Johnny m. Sally Reece, William m. Mary Polly Greer, Sarah m. possibly a Greer. Thomas Jones possibly had a previous family before marrying Fannie . He moved to Beech Creek, Avery Co., NC in 1849 after death of Fannie. He died in 1870 at the age of 90 and buried in Mt. Hello! Does anyone have a TOLLIVER/WALKER connection? Felix TOLLIVER b. 1859 Ashe County, NC. Died in (?) Buried in Pleasant Hill Cem Forest Hill, MD 20150. He married Mary Ann WALKER b. 1861. Where she was born is not known for certain, possibly Rutherford County NC. They married in Alleghany (now Ashe County) NC in or near Sparta NC where they lived.
