Christian Sharp. > > According to my information this is the same Isaac Sharp. His will was dated in 1781 and he died in 1782. His wife was Maria Philopena Graves. As the custom at the time, her Christian (baptismal) name was Maria (Mary) and her secular (given) name was Philopena. These are my ancestors. In my research I have found another Isaac Sharp in the area at about the same time. There is considerable uncertainty not only about Isaac Sharp, but about the parents of Maria Philopena Graves. My website shows my (obviously unproven) conclusions.
