I am searching for information concerning John Walker, son of Phillip Walker, Sr. of Orange County NC, (Alamance) I am a descendant of Phillip Walker, Jr. to moved to Henderson County, TN. I know that Phillip Walker, Sr., and sons James, Alexander, Counley and daughters Mary (Walker) Crawford and Jinny Walker, died in the Orange County area of North Carolina. I have been unable to find anything on John Walker with the exception of the possible facts below. Does anyone know anything about this John Walker? 1-Phillip WALKER (abt 1738-1826) 2-James WALKER (19 Jun 1785-19 Jun 1853) 2-Alexander WALKER (-1835) 2-Counley WALKER (28 Oct 1768-25 Oct 1845) 2-John WALKER (-) 2-Phillip WALKER (12 Oct 1780-9 Apr 1858) 2-Jinney WALKER (-) 2-Mary WALKER (1775-abt 1834) 2-William WALKER (17 Jan 1770-19 Sep 1819) 1. John WALKER. -- John was named in his fatherÂ’s will in 1826 and his brother, AlexanderÂ’s will in 1835 Therefore according to Alexander's will he was apparently still living in 1835 ---- I believe that it is a possible, but not confirmed, that the following deed may belong to this John Walker in part because it was witnessed by Connally (Counley) Walker, his brother: 8 Feb 1796 John Walker bought 150 acres from James Macklin and Katharine Macklin on N. Side of Haw, bounded on W. by Guilford County, on N by lands formerly of Thomas Telford now deceased, on E by James Moore, on S by Zachariah Tate. Proved Aug 1801, Witness Aaron Walker, Connally Walker and William Walker. Any help would be appreciated. David Walker
