His sister was Jane Mebane, born about 1731. His other siblings were: William Mebane, born 1728 in Pennsylvania; died 1744 in Guilford Co., North Carolina; John born 1730 in Pennsylvania; died April 1769 in Pennsylvania, Jane as mentioned; and Frances Mebane...there may be more, these are all I have...they were the children of William Mebane born about 1682 in Ulster, Ireland.
