Hi Everyone, I am searching for Anyone who might have known or has any infomation on a couple who died in Almance Co. NC. Rex Calvin Roark born 7-4-1904 in Ashe Co.NC and died 7-14-1978 in Almance Co. NC. Son of Walter Roark and Julia Badger Roark. Retired Sheet Medal Worker. Rex was under Dr. Green's care when he passed away. Funeral Arrangements were by the supervision of the Lowe Funeral Home, burial was in Linwood Cemetery, Burlinton, NC Alma Boone Roark born March 20, 1908 in Almance Co. NC and died February 01, 1981 in Almance Co. NC. She was the daughter of Joseph P. Boone and Mary Ellen Perry. Funeral Arrangements were handled by the Lowe Funeral Home and burial was in Linwood Cemetery in Burlington, NC, next to Rex. Thanks to a wonderfull reseacher I have pictures of Rex and Alma graves and headstones. I am interested in anyone who might have had known them, or possible had family members in the Nursing Home or who may atteneded church with them who might rememeber them. Rex and Alma were members of the Jehovahs Witness. It is my understanding Rex and Alma didnt have children together, but Rex had 3 children by a previous marriage. On Alma's funeral arrangements it is stated she is survived by several nieces and nephews. I am hopeing to possible obtain a picture of Rex and Alma.
