James' and his father (name unknown) and brothers were in the Conferate Army during the Civil war. I am searching for parents, brothers, sisters, cousins any connecton to his family especially in North Carolina. Thanks, Jim King >> Hello Jim, Your are really shooting all around my King family line, but I am not able to place your particular ones. Can you provide me with some dates for the ones that you know for sure? You made a reference to the Civil War period, but birth dates and death dates help a lot. I am a descendant of a James King of the Union Ridge Church Community, not far from Pleasant Grove. In researching my line, I encountered several other King family groups, which I had to delve into, in order to separate those families from mine. One group descends from a Robert King, whose estate was settled in the Union Ridge area, who named my great-great uncle, James Graham, as his administrator. That line has given names like Charlie Mack and Ernest Lee King, reminiscent on your given names. I hope that we can make some connections for you. Best regards, John Fox Winston-Salem,NC
