I know that he died on the day of the Battle of Lindley's Mill. I know that he was a Quaker of strong religious beliefs. My mom has done some work and has lots of geneology on the Lindley family. But she doesn't have what I need. I am in the 4th grade and am studying N.C. I want to write about the Battle of Lindley's Mill, but I can't find any information. I know it was the bloodiest battle of the Revolution fought on N.C. soil. But that's all I can find. Can anyone help me?
