Hi Folks, I just found a few interesting things out the other day and hope someone can fill in some more blanks. I have an UNNOWN HUGHES who married SUSAN CATHERINE INGLE. Susan Ingle also married DANIEL RILEY MAY who died in the Civil War. Based on her age, from a census, I believe that she married Daniel Riley MAY when she was very young, had 4 children by him, and was widowed during the Civil War. She and UNKNOWN HUGHES who apparently always lived in Burlington, NC area had at least 1 son named PETE HUGHES. Pete and his wife LIBBY UNKNOWN always lived in the same area. Pete and Libby had 4 children, 2 sons & 2 daughters. Which HUGHES married Susan Catherine Ingle May? Dates...after 1865....is she listed in 1870 census? 1880? Did they have other children besides PETE HUGHES? Who did Pete and Hyacinth's daughter MITTIE HUGHES marry? Any other info would be greatly appreciated.
