They lived in Haw River, Alamance, NC and had 6 children their son Charlie Thomas Browning b aug 1896 died Dec 1959, is my line. Thomas Franklin is my brick Wall on this tree. Pettigrew: Charles Pettigrew born abt 1788 married Elizabeth Cash dec 6 1810 in Granville, NC they had 7 children Their son John Elkins Pettigrew married Jean/Joan Allison 1 aug 1838,Mebane, Orange, NC their daug Euphrasia Virginia Feline Elkins Pettigrew born abt 1846 her dau Mary Rice married Willam Browning.
