Most interested in info regarding slaves belonging to the Foust families of Alamance, Guilford, Orange and Randolph Counties. James Alexander Foust was a slave. he belonged to George Foust of Orange ( later Alamance county). He was later given to George's son Thomas Foust as a wedding present. I'm trying to located descendents of possible brothers James may have had that were bounded out by George Foust to other Families in Alamance. I believe these brothers names to be Daniel, Walter, possibly Squire and Duncan. These brothers may have been under the age of 16 before the end of the Civil war.
