Ed, A year or so ago, a cousin of mine and I where trying to link the Hardees of Pitt County to those Hardees from the Columbus County, NC and Horry County, SC. I remember that we found a few links in the family. One person in particular was William Hardee, born in Pitt County date unknown, son of William Andrew and Everilla Woodhouse, husband of Nancy Stocks. He and Nancy married in 1776 and He died in Horry County, SC in 1827. I'll have to go over my notes and see what else I can find. Lisa
