I have run across Samuel Garganus in a Martin Co. census or tax list circa 1780 transcribed as Lemuel Garganus by whoever typed it. Unfortunately, I have never been able to figure out anything about this Samuel Gurganus' relations except the he was in Martin Co. circa 1779-80. Anyone else know anything about this Samuel?
