In my survey of grave sites I find very little help in lising of person buried in these country sites. If the funeral home that handle the burial is still in existance it might have the names of the ones they buried only. Otherwise you will have to rely other researchers and possibly death records giving location. Also there are grave removal records for those sites that have been moved in the Register of Deeds office in Pitt county. Now some of the large city sites will have list of who bought the plots. I know they have ask me for copy of my work when I finish it. I have tried taking their lists and checking the names but so many of the plots had other persons buried in them. It was better for me to list the names in order as I found them. As mentioned before Elton Hardy did Martin county. Mr. House has done Beaufort county. I understand his work is supposed to be publised but I have no details as to when. Possibly Beaufort Genealogical Society is dong it. Some churches have records. Mount Pleasant has a board with the plots and names on it. Bethany FWB Church has list but had five unknown plots. In my comparing my notes with theirs, St. Amand and Jackson I found the missing five. St. Amand listed two, Jackson two and I found one to account for them.
