Jean Bill Linder, dec knew more about the various Taylor families in Eastern NC than anyone. He said William who married Dinah Deall was the son of Jacob Taylor. Bill stated this was the William who lived to be 114 years old and he had a brother Jacob. Bill had information on Rhoda and John Haddock's children including Esther who married Nasbey Mills but he doesn't have the information that they moved out. Donna has William who married Dinah Deal as the son of William and Lipscomb Jones - William Sr from Norfolk. Given the name Lipscomb in the William and Dinah family would be more inclined to think this is correct. Both Bill and Donna have documentation to back up these lines. I can only assume there were two different William Taylors in the area and they got confused. I need to get into Beaufort deeds which I can't do from here but think Dinah Deale might be my ancestor but not her husband, William Taylor. Thanks.
