The Family Research Society of Northeastern North Carolina is presenting A Genealogy Fair, "Finding Local, State and National Records" on Saturday, March 15 in Elizabeth City, NC. Speakers will be: Raymond A. Winslow, Jr., UNC-Chapel Hill, published author, Editor of the NC Gen. Soc. Journal and an expert on NE NC genealogy. Subject "County and Local Records". William D. Bennett, Duke University, Past Registrar, NC Society of Sons of American Revolution, published author, rocognized by Superior Courts as expert witness in field of NC history & genealogy speaking on "Use of State Level Records". Carolyn L. Barkley, Wellesley, University of Pittsburg, published author & lecturer, Central Librarian at Virginia Beach Public Library, membership/officer numerous societies speaking on "A Capital Experience: Researching in Washington, DC" (National Archives/DAR Library/Library of Congress).
