    3. Lisa; The Liscomb/Liscombe/Liscom name appears to be unusual. Might be a useful surname to use in sorting out our commons names...your Taylor & my Wilson. On the subject of William Taylor, I have made a sort of half-hearted attempt to find the William Taylor who m. Mary Wilson of Edgecombe Co. If you know anything about such a couple, let me know. William Taylor & wife, Polly (Wilson) Taylor were named in the estate records of James W. Wilson of Edgecombe & Halifax, which indicate that he had died by 1832. The administrator was Lewis Dicken Wilson another brother of Mary "Polly" Wilson Taylor. 3. According to the information I was sent - Liscombe was Liscombe Jones bc 1680 in Talbot Co, Md. My source has Liscombe and William Taylor married in Beaufort Co but I believe they married in Norfolk Co. Anyway might give you two places to look - Norfolk and Talbot. 3. Thank for the Norfolk information...The Norfolk area is one of the top possibilities for our 1600s generation. By the way, in case it matters to you, my message did not make clear that the William Taylor I am seeking was the one who was dead by 1832. Overuse of pronouns again. Happy Hunting!
