On the subject of William Taylor, I have made a sort of half-hearted attempt to find the William Taylor who m. Mary Wilson of Edgecombe Co. If you know anything about such a couple, let me know. William Taylor & wife, Polly (Wilson) Taylor were named in the estate records of James W. Wilson of Edgecombe & Halifax, which indicate that he had died by 1832. The administrator was Lewis Dicken Wilson another brother of Mary "Polly" Wilson Taylor. According to the information I was sent - Liscombe was Liscombe Jones bc 1680 in Talbot Co, Md. My source has Liscombe and William Taylor married in Beaufort Co but I believe they married in Norfolk Co. Anyway might give you two places to look - Norfolk and Talbot.
