Jesse Bailey 28, wife Rebecca Crisp b 21 Oct 1848 d 21 Jan 1921, son John H b 1875 in Greene Co. May be this could be how the Rebecca's got confusing. Here is even more. Rebecca Crisp married Bia Harriss 21 Apr 1834 in Edgecombe County NC. In the 1850 Census that I used for Kinchen Owens and wife, Rebecca, he was born about 1825 and she was born about 1822. Your Rebecca Crisp, born 1841, would have been only 9 years old in 1850.
