Hello all, I feel I need to clear up some confusion here. A couple of years ago, Judi Gettier contacted me about my Rasberry line. We found my branch of the tree went off in a different direction than hers. My line will follow at the end of this message. It's been awhile since I've attempted to follow up on Judi's line. We've both been trying to track down the ever elusive Benjamin...lots of Benjamin Rasberry's and I guess too many Cordelia's. I don't know who Benjamin F's. wife was...somewhere along the way, the possibility there was another Cordellia made it's way into the family line...not quite sure how that happened, but it's never been proven. The Rasberry line I'm interested in is: Benjamin (born 1734) in Ga. died 1810 in Morgan County Ga. He married Sarah(?) Benjamin and Sarah had the following children: *Benjamin(b.1797) in Georgia, died 1852, Louisiana, married Mary Tullos Thomas Madison (b.1785) Georgia John (b.1787) William(b.1789)married Nancy Kirby Celia(b.1791) in Georgia, died 1862, Mississippi, married James Baggett Purity(b.1794)in Georgia, died 1854,Mississippi, married William Clower Green(b.1800) in Georgia, died 1859.Alabama, married Mary Mullins * My line: Benjamin and Mary had the following son: Richard "Dick" Rasberry(b.1821) in Miss.died 1867 Louisiana.married Mary Rollins I can continue to the present day. There is much confusion with the Rasberry line...I hope this clears up some of the questions. I hope we can unravel some of this puzzle. thanks to all in the group who have replied to my e-mail. If I can answer any questions, please feel free to ask. Judy T.
