Paula, Yep. I now see this Cordelia and Benjamin Rasberry family in the 1850 Census. I had not collected her name since I really am not a Rasberry reseacher, but now I will. I am definitely interested in all of the Cordelia's. We have to figure out who she was before becoming a Rasberry. There are a lot more Rasberrys in Greene County in 1850 than I had previously noticed. Have you looked at the actual microfilm of the census? I am looking at Murphey's transcribed version. Do you know anything about the child listed as Joseph A., age 16? Do you think he may have been the Alexander J. Rasberry who married Cordelia Lyons? By the way, my 3rd-great-grandfather, Edward B. Carman, was the census taker for Greene County in 1850. He knew how to spell Cordelia, though he made a mess of some of the other names.
