Good morning, Has anyone done any research on the Mizell family in Pitt County. I have distant Mizell relatives that lived in the Carolina and Pactolus Townships in the 1870's through the 1910's. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jr.
That area of Pitt County is near Martin and Beaufort Counties. Easter Rogerson Mizell is a genealogist in that area who seems to know something about every family in that area. You might write her a letter (the old fashioned way) and see if she knows anything about your family. Her address is: Mrs. Easter Mizell 105 S. McCaskey Rd. Williamston, NC 27892 Good luck! hi, There was a MIZELL Family of Charleston, SC,too. Both it and the one from NC went to just about the same locations - SE GA and NE FL. My family is related to both lines. John R.
