Allen Churchill will certainly be missed not only by his fellow researchers but his community. It was my pleasure to work with Allen in helping to form Pitt County Family Researchers. During all the years I worked with him he was a giving and sharing person. Many times going out of his way to help anyone who requested help. He had just called the day before and left family information on my answering machine. All of us who are involved in family research owe a great deal to Allen for his work. We will miss being able to call on him for help. I always joked with him that when I hit a brickwall, I called the expert. He usually could help me. If you were someone just starting out his question was, "now who is your family?" Our prayers go out to Rachel and the family. Bill
