Roger mentions so many names here that lots of us will probably find connections of all sorts. Just throwing this out for what it's worth. Mr. Bibb mentioned as the owner of the mill was James H. Bibb from Albemarle County, VA. James H. Bibb married Martha Jane Davis in Fluvanna County, VA in 1848 and the couple was listed on the 1850 Albemarle County, VA census. Several relatives in this family came to Pitt during the early 1850's. Martha Jane Davis Bibb was a sister of E.M./ Eugenius Monroe Davis who lived in Falkland until his death about 1907. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger E.
