The August Meeting of the Pitt County Family Researchers will be held this Tuesday, Aug. 15 at Sheppard Memorial Library on Evans Street, Greenville, NC. The business meeting starts at 6:00 PM and the general meeting starts at 7:00. Everyone is invited to attend and bring a history friend with you! Also, the August Quarterly will go out the last of this week or the first of next week. This issue features the 1755 Beaufort County Tax List which shows the early residents of the soon to be formed Pitt County.
