Can anyone tell me what PayPal is about? I received an email saying thanks for buying something from them and the click on the site to dispute the sale. My computer will not let me go to the site. Has anyone else had this experience. It is for $239.95. Have a blessed day Linda Melvin ________________________________________________________________________ Check out AOL.com today. that's a scam, if you don't have a paypal account, ignore it, delete it. PayPal is a very legitimate way of paying online, it is owned by EBay. But if you are not an account holder, this is SPAM trying to get info from you. >>> [email protected] 06/27/06 7:04 PM >>> Can anyone tell me what PayPal is about? PayPal is a way to pay fast for things bought on eBay, etc. If you've never heard of it, the that emails is phishing and spam! Anytime you get an email from a bank or anything else you know you don't have an account with, DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK, just the delete the email. No reputable organization will ask you too. Type in the website directly instead of clicking on the link, even if the email appears to be from some one you are associated with. For example to go to PayPal, always just type in the URL www.paypal.com and then sign in to be sure the message is real! ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 27, 2006 7:04 PM Subject: [NC-PCFR] PayPal ?? > Can anyone tell me what PayPal is about?
