I have been helping a couple of people with the Ross family. One family is the Theophious McGilbert Ross family. Some of this family still lives in the Vanceboro area. Walter Ross of San Antonio, TX is one that is researching this family. The William "Billy" Ross family is another. They were mainly north of the Tar River. Have set up a Ross file to place all Ross information that I find. I have not been able to connect all of the different families. Will post some information.
