If you do have a PayPal account, or use Google or Yahoo alot, put their link in your "favorite" web sites and go to those links only through your favorites. Why, because there are often a number of sites set up to capitalize on the oft chance that you will mis-spell their name sometime in the future - and then you get sent to a site that may look just like PayPal but is really is PauPal - to capitalize on your misspelling. I have a PayPal acct. that I rarely us - but I get PayPal messages all the time asking me for security reasons to click on the included link and then confirm my PayPal acct. information - like address, checking account number, credit card number and the like. The author of these email is NOT PayPal (even though the message looks identical to one that might come from pay pal). The author is phishing (fishing) by putting out thousands of these emails in the hope some uninitiated person will do just what they ask - and there are many that do - and give up their fiscal identity to a scumbag.
