Leonard Franklin Sutton, Sr. passed away this morning in Richmond, VA. Details of the service are not complete at this time. Possibly will be Friday in Greenville, NC. Leonard was the husband of Geralene "Geri" Mills Sutton. Leonard was very supportive of his wife's work in the Pitt County Historical Society, Red Banks Preservation Committee and Pitt County Family Researchers.
