John You may be referring to the "Colonial Cemetery".... a paper (11 pages) written in 1940 by a student at Wake Forest College. You are in luck since that paper was included in "Beaufort County, NC Cemeteries, Book 2, Cemeteries Named A-C" compiled and published by the Beaufort County Genealogical Society, 2003.
