Thank you, Brenda. What really confused me was Susan White age 20. (1850 census) But, looking at it further I realized there was a Susan A (who was married to Joe Jones), that other Susan must have been a relative of Fred's. But, what does 5/12 mean for Susan A. She was born in 1850. Does that mean she is 5 months old? Thank you for your help. I am new to this, and I am learning, so excuse the questions. I hope I am not a pest. Dani I would think Susan White age 20 in 1860 would be a relative of Fred's...maybe a younger sister or niece. Susan A. 5/12 is 5 months old. The information on the top of the census page indicates the information was recorded on Sept. 26, 1850. If Susan A was 5 mo. old on Sept 26 she must have been born in late April 1850.(assuming the age 5 mo. was correct) Brenda ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dani" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, December 05, 2005 12:30 AM Subject: Re: [NC-PCFR] Re: Frederick White > Thank you, Brenda.
