    3. Thank you for replying. I will start saving in Jan. I noticed that you are researching White in GA, SC, LA. My ggg grandfather was Fred White that married Mary Davis. She was ( I heard) a full blooded Native American, and no one knows what tribe she is in, could be Cherokee. Anyway, I found a Frederick White that was born about 1812 to Judah White in Habershan GA. I think it is probaly him, after that he had some siblings that was born in NC. The information I found said that the NC wills by Olds Ref book, and I assume that this is the correct Whites. Fred White has been found in NC ,TN, Ga, and this Fred White that was born about the time my Fred White was. I have a birthyear of 1814 for him. Do you know about these Whites? Do you know of Abel who was Fred's grandfather, he was born 1735 in Habersham GA. Judah was born about 1761 in Habersham GA. Judah has the following children: Abel, Ashad, Jeptha, Samuel, Daniel, David, Frederick, John, White (it was a she),Griffin (born in NC), Millicent (NC), and Bathsheba. I found all this information on the LDS site. Thanks for any information or help you can give on my elusive Fred White. 3. Dani, Sorry I do not research WHITE. I do research DAVIS, and I'm missing the names of two females born between 1825 and 1835 according to the census records. Betsy Ross gave me this information. Maybe this will help you. Frederick White (b. 1824) was named father of illegitimate child by Eliz. Jones in 1858. ( From Pitt County Genealogical Quarterly, Vol. 2, May 2001, "Pitt County Bastardy Bonds") In 1860 census Elizabeth Jones, age 23, is living next door to him in the Household of Robert and Rebecca Richmond. No 2 yr. old is listed. Frederick White married first Mary Davis, b.ca 1820. Their children were: Jacky Ann born ca 1844, Mary A. b. ca 1845-1917, John B. b. 1848, Susan A. (Puss) b.ca 1850-1914, Martha died 1930, Margaret b. ca 1857. Frederick White married second Frances (Franky) Jones, dau. of James and Mary Jones, on Dec. 20, 1873 in Pitt Co. She was born ca 1849-50 and died in 1900. Buried in Jones graveyard in Ayden, NC (Pitt Co.)
