I hope that each of you had a Merry Christmas and are looking forward to a great year in your research in 2009. Now after saying that I want you to make it a better year. I am going to get on my soapbox and speak to myself as well as others. Please be courteous and share with others. I know I am guilty of not answering my emails sometimes. I try to do this but I get busy on other things. If I don't reply let me know. There are those who I don't know that request family info. I send them a genealogy report and request info from them. Guess what, I never hear from them again. But I find a gold nugget in return sometimes so I keep on sending info to everyone. Then there are the ones who don't answer and you send an email to see if they got the report. Their reply, I only check my emails every two or three weeks. Why do they have an email address and do research over the internet? But after saying all of that, I appreciate all of you who share and go out of your way to help others. I will always try to help any of you. If I can't I will try to put you in touch with someone who can. How can I say all of that. Because I am old enough and you can't argue with old folks, also you learn from your own mistakes. Thanks to all of you who make genealogy such a pleasure. Bill
