Now, I have heard that they may have been in GA. They had a son William Churchwell (and my mother's notes had Churchell) who was born 1819, and married Julia Simmons. I am not sure if I can answer your question but this is what little bit (no pun intended) I know about the LITTLE family. A Silvy LITTLE, born cir 1770, whose father may have been James. Silvy married William WITHERINGTON in Lenoir, Co. in abt 1799. Her sons, Robert, James, and William migrated to Houston Co, GA in abt 1830. Later in Robert migrated to Barbour Co, AL. In the 1850 census Crizzey (Crisey) Cassiday, sister of Silvy Little Witherington is living in the home of Robert. This hopefully will give you another place to look for your Littles.
