    3. This Redmond Williams is a black man. His family certainly came from one of the Williams plantations near Bruce, Pitt County. You may find information on him in the 1870 Pitt County Census; Cohabitation Records in the past Quarterlies and records in the Pitt County Court House. 3. Ok, Thanks. I don't know of any connection to any people of color. Tho I could be wrong. The Book "Deep Roots and Strong Branches" had my Great Grandfather telling about a Redin Williams I thought it might be Redmond Williams. I know my mother mother Annie Williams daughter of William Bert Williams and Margaret M. Ruffin buired in Town Creek Church Cemetery was boirn in Pitt County. I do not know of Williams family was originally from there or not. Any info on this appreciated. Thank you, Peggy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger E.
