I am interested in finding documentation on a Rev. War ancestor who lived in Pitt County, NC and Ga. I am trying to document my family back to Clement Forbes. I have not at this point found any birth, death or marriage documents for Clement Forbes. I have found land records for him. FYI, several of us Forbes cousins are working on a timeline for this Clement Forbes who it appears left Pitt County for Georgia c.1800. We have forwarded records of deeds and related documents to Susanne Kerley, and are thankful for her fresh pair of eyes and brain to help in piecing together this jigsaw puzzle.
