Dear Sammy and other Spivey researchers. I have family notes ( I have not done research on this line) that my 6th great grandfather was Caleb Spivey but he must have been born in the 1730-40 time frame because my 5th g.grandmother was his daughter.  Her name was Nancy and she was born ?1760 in Franklin County.  She married William Forrest of Dobbs County (He was in the Rev.War and the land he was granted in Pitt County is still in the Forrest family).  Nancy Spivey Forrest died 10 November 1843.  I know the Nancy Spivey/Wm. Forrest info is correct as it is my DAR record and I am the third in the DAR on that line. I am interested in any info on a possible 2nd Caleb Spivey.  I was always told his wife was Sarah Roundtree (daughter of Jesse) but the time does not sync.
