William Kilpatrick was in the Rev War according to records. Believe that information is on Old Dobbers - surname projects - Kilpatrick http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~paday/dobbers/ Circumstantial evidence indicates he was my direct ancestor and most of the Kilpatrick family left in the area are his descendants.
