Published in the Star Newspaper, Raleigh, NC State of North Carolina Pitt County County Court of Pleas & Quarterly Sessions November Term, 1812 John Sirman, and Euphamia, His wife } vs } James English, Gatsy Leedon, Sally } Petition for Partition Leedon and Ira Leedon, heirs at law } of thomas English, deceased. } In this cause it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that the defendants are inhabitants of this State, it is ordered, That notice be given to the said James English, Gatsy Leedon, Sally Leedon, and Ira Leedon, by publication in the Raleigh Star, for six weeks, that unless they appear amd answer at the next Term of said Court, to be held for said County aforesaid, at the Court House in Greenville, on the first Monday of February next, the Petition will be taken pro confess and heard ex-parte.
