Here are some loose notes that pertain to the Vinson family. First, Priscella Harrell, d/o Jesse Harrell of Bertie County, NC. m. 1st Jethro Kittrell b. ca 1739 d. ca 1783/84. Priscella Harrell Kittrell m. 2nd John Vinson. Unknown if children by second marriage. There is a John Vinson mentioned as Elder at Red Banks Primitive Baptis Church. His wife would not stay with him. Possibly this was Priscella. Caused a problem in the church. John Vinson died June 1796 according to church records. Priscella was selling land in Bertie in Feb of 1796. Possibly she moved back to Bertie. A John Vinson is listed as father of Rachel Vinson who m. George Kittrell in Hertford or Bertie counties. George was born ca 1730 no birth date known for Rachel. Will check some more notes.
