Alfred WAINRIGHT killed his brother, Jacob WAINRIGHT Wanda, certainly there was a court case. I don't remember right off when the Greene County Court House burned. The records may be at the Archives in Raleigh. There could be more reports on the case in the News and Observer and or Kinston newspapers.  Roger > From: wdwyer@rstnc.com > To: nc-pcfr@rootsweb.com; nc-pcfr-l@rootsweb.com > Date: Tue, 19 May 2009 09:39:30 -0400 > Subject: [NC-PCFR] PCFR Book > > I ran across the following excerpt in one of the PCFR booklets at Shepard > Memorial.
