Pitt County Family Researchers met Tuesday night, Dec.17 at Sheppard Library. There were sixteen members present. We would like to welcome new member Karen Oakley Moore to our group. Karen is researching OAKLEY and VANDIFORD. The board has several issues involving the surname book which have to be resolved. These matters were discussed, and will be discussed further at the January board meeting on Jan. 14,. Meanwhile, work has begun on the surname book.
