Hi Jo, I believe that my Outterbridges did come from Martin County originally - my great-great-grandmother was Nancy Outterbridge, and my understanding is that she came from Martin to Pitt County. I haven't looked as far into that angle as I'd like, but it's on my to-do list, so I'll see if I can tie the Professor into my family!
