Thanks Paula Will add something else to the mix. Amos Evans' son shown on the 1880 census was Godfrey Amos Evans (G.A. as age 6) m. Ada Partick, daughter of James W. Patrick and Sarah Catherine Kittrell. Sarah was my grandfather Leon Louis Kittrell's sister. The older Amos Evans cemetery is on Hooker Road at the J. H. Rose football field. Godfrey Amos Evan' children lived on old US 264 (Dickinson Avenue Ext.) just west of Greenville.
