Pitt County Family Researchers will have their August meeting Tuesday night, August 20, at 7:00 pm at Sheppard Memorial Library. The board meeting will be at 6:00 pm in the same meeting room. The August Quarterly was mailed today. Included with the Quarterly is a newsletter, a ballot to be filled in and mailed back for the election of our officers, and a registration form for the annual Reunion on October 11 and 12. Those of you who are planning to attend the Reunion can bring your old family photographs if you would like to have them scanned for our Picturing Pitt County Project at Sheppard Memorial Library. These pictures will be put on CD in a collection at Sheppard Memorial to be viewed on computer there. For the families who missed being a part of the collection of Pitt County families in the Chronicles of Pitt County, this is an opportunity to have your family lines represented in this photo collection of Pitt County families.
